What is the difference between Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology?…Although these subjects are closely related, they each focus on different aspects of the human body. Anatomy is the study of body structures and physical components. Physiology examines how those structures function and interact. Pathology focuses on disease, disorders, abnormalities and conditions that affect the body’s normal functioning. Studying all three subjects together provides a more complete understanding of health, wellbeing and professional practice.
